Widely used advertising medium
There can be very few people in France who are not familiar with one of the
PagesJaunes Group’s directories – whether L’Annuaire (former Pages
Blanches - White pages), or Former Pages Jaunes - the yellow pages), printed or online directories,. 90% of French homes currently have access to at
least one type of the Group’s directories, accessing them in either printed or
online format, by Minitel or mobile phone.

FRENCH DIRECTORIES, An exceptionally wide reach
The directories are one of the most widely consulted advertising platforms.
Around eight out of ten French people aged fifteen or over use a directory at
least once a year. In 169 millions 2003 the French yellow published by
PgaesJauens pages was consulted an average of around 71 million times per month,
and the PagesJaunes directories 52 million times. PagesJaunes 3611 had 25
million visits and pagesjaunes.fr 21.3 million. In other words, taking into
account all the different group media, the directories were consulted more than
169 million times per month.
The leading publisher of directories in France
For both private and business users, the directories are International
presence available in printed or online format: Minitel, landline and
mobile internet, and interactive TV. For professionals, PagesJaunes publishes
the PagesPro and Kompass directories. The Group also has operations in Spain,
Belgium, Luxembourg and Lebanon. In 2003, 72.9 million copies of its 358
directories were distributed.
